Have you ever stood over your scale and cuss it out?

Call it a liar... A POS.... blame it's battery....say it's old and needs replacing......turn it in another direction for better results....throw it across the room...?

I just did....and sounded like a crazy man.

I trained for a marathon and didn't change my eating habits and lost quite a bit of weight. Now that I am not running 10+ mile every weekend I've blown up real good

And sometimes I'll sweet talk it before I step on it. I try to guess my weight before I check it, and I'm usually off by less than two pounds. But when I'm more than three pounds heavier than I thought I tend to suspect foul play. I mean, how can you gain seven pounds when you only ate a 24 ounce ribeye?

The nurse zip-slides those weights all around .... who knows if she is accurate? And why is it always 10 lbs. more than my one at home!

I watch my weight and exercise. I don't know why the one in the doctor's office shows me as being so heavy.

And once I've smashed the scale into pieces with the stick, I leave a few of the fragments on the floor as a warning to the replacement scale...
