They LOVE these disgusting "Home remodeling" shows. AAGGGGHHHH!
True.... about every 10,000th house, the re-modelers get it right.

Usually they spent like $86,000.00 and the places look either so-so or suck or WHAT THE FUCK!

Who and the hell paints their living room bright red? and their Bedroom Green and Purple. And these Yo-yo's put crap and untasteful bullshit all over the place. You would have to have the taste of a crazy, drug addicted Cockroach to like (almost) any of their crap.

...and at the end, the workers and Interior Designer (HA!..Give me a Break!) look it over and say
OHHH..Daaaarrrling, it's beeeeuuuutiful.

Shit.

Just about every item they show on The Antiques Road Show she remembers one of her friends having it years ago and using it as a door stop or something. I wish I had access to her friend's houses because I would be a millionaire today.

My daughter (who watches the ghost hunter shows) would answer the OP question with Duck Dynasty - my wife and I enjoy it and my daughter hates it lol.

I don't think they are as far right as you think and I'm pretty sure they were hillbillies long before it was cool. They are pretty religious but it's not quite so overbearing that this old atheist can't stand it. They've adopted mixed race kids and have children with special needs and they pretty much have fun making duck calls and money and try their best to take care of their families and their town and I reckon it would be nice if more people would do the same.

on any episode (May not have seen them all). But I don't watch them because of their religion or politics. I watch because Uncle Si makes me laugh.

Maybe if I knew more about how involved in politics they are I'd end up dumping the show from my watch list - they wouldn't be the first - but I also still enjoy Clint Eastwood and Dennis Hopper movies and I liked Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel.

I stopped watching anything to do with Paula Deen though and I liked her until I heard the things she thought were OK. I've eaten at her restaurant in Savannah and liked it (although I needed a couple extra cholesterol pills for dessert). We used to occasionally watch Dog the Bounty Hunter until I found out what a racist he was.

I'm not against personally boycotting shows/products/services for behavior that I don't agree with (You'll never catch me with a Chik Fil-A sandwich and I used to love those things) but I have conservative friends and family. I don't understand them but they are good people. I believe (as of right now anyway lol) that the Robertson folks are good people and unless I find out different I will continue to enjoy their show.
