My wife was freaking out --She is the major Doctor Who fan and she was flipping out at 4 doctors in one show NOT to mention the the last shot of all the doctors which she is wondering was the actual actors or just images imposed.

So it's manipulated images of them, at least; and the other earlier ones have aged a fair amount - it's over 30 years since Tom Baker stopped doing it.

I knew who it was just from the voice - that's how much Tom Baker's Doctor has stuck with me all these years. He showed that's he's still the kookiest Doctor.

...and the special effects are just awful. But, back then, it was just so fun and wacky and Baker made it grand.

I was expecting another Hartnell stand-in, but NO!! Tom Baker! :fan girl scream:

And just how funny was the fan-girl cos-play character?

Now that Gallifrey isn't stopped in the Time War (via The Moment), looks like Matt Smith's Doctor will be visiting Gallifrey in the Christmas special.

And am I the only one who totally geeked out when Peter Capaldi's Doctor was one of the Doctors helping out with saving Gallifrey?

I could just about tolerate Matt Smith once he revealed that Patrick Troughton was the inspiration for all that hand flapping that he does.

I was disappointed that although John Hurt's eyes turned blue during the regeneration his ears didn't change! Even if he didn't appear, I wanted more of a nod to the Christopher Eccleston regeneration.

“I’ve been really, really quite careful about the numbering of the Doctors,” he said. “He’s very specific, the John Hurt Doctor, that he doesn’t take the name of the Doctor. He doesn’t call himself that. He’s the same Time Lord, the same being as the Doctors either side of him, but he’s the one who says, ‘I’m not the Doctor.’ So the Eleventh Doctor is still the Eleventh Doctor, the Tenth Doctor is still the Tenth…”

I bawled like a baby. How wonderful was he? And I screamed seeing those tiny bits of Capaldi.

All in all, I thought it was grand. It definitely changes the show, hopefully it will last for a long, long time.

And what is a curator? A curator is someone who oversees, or watches, an important collection.

So, Tom Baker was playing a Watcher. Hmmm...
