I must be getting old - Saturday Night Live

(I'm only 40, but turn 41 next month), but when I watched some SNL episodes, I had to fast forward past the music numbers. The deck was stacked against me, because one was Katy Perry, and she has annoyed the shit out of me after her homophobic gay song, then came Gaga. Gaga was brilliant on the show until she sang and "danced"? I was afraid she was having a seizure.

Sigh. I thought I knew music, but either music is shitty these days, or I'm not very good at deciphering what is cool these days.

Kate McKinnon kicks ass on the show, though, I do know comedy when I see it!

1. I tried to watch it this past Saturday night but it was awful. The so called "comedy" skits,

I mean. The music was a OK, just a little bit odd. But then I am officially a geezer now, so I don't expect to like musical groups that appeal to my grandson. But there was NOT a single skit that got so much as a snicker out of me. They were totally and completely LAME, to quote my grandson, who knows lame when he sees it.

I think their writers need a vacation or maybe should review some of the really old SNL skits. If I'm off base here, I'm ready to take my lumps.

on another note, have you heard anything about when plant vs. zombies 2 will be released for Android? That's what I want for Christmas. I know I'm a big old nerd, but it would be great if it was released then!

She likes the new plants, zombies, and maps, but she thinks there are less mini games.
