Mine is
Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

"If strawberry rhubarb is your favorite, it means youre probably extremely talented. Youre just naturally gifted like that squirrel that can water-ski."
Absolutely!

(39,652 posts)but it was!
"If peach pie is your favorite, it means one thing: You really know how to live. You just know. You should teach a master class on just livin. In Ja Rules 2001 single Livin It Up, he was talking about YOU specifically."

Followed closely by Blueberry.

(12,296 posts)"If pumpkin pie is your favorite, theres a good chance youre incredibly good looking. Scientists have yet to figure out why, but attractive people tend to gravitate toward pumpkin. People are walking by you asking, Who is that person shoving pumpkin pie into their mouth? Cuz daaaaaaaayumn they look good.
If only they knew ...

I once received a marriage proposal after a party guest ingested a slice of this pie!

(1,999 posts)Failing that, I love pie. Any pie, doesn't matter.
I guess pumpkin would be my favorite amongst those listed.
No, strawberry rhubarb.
No, custard. I love a good custard. Actually, that's probably closest to the sour cream raisin, nice custardy feel to it.
I want them all! But on Thanksgiving I'll be going after the pumpkin pie first.

(20,582 posts)they missed my favourite - Mincemeat.
But all extremely delicious: Apple, Cherry, Lemon Meringue, Blueberry

(12,132 posts)but now I wish it was my favorite:
If chess pie is your favorite, it means you keep it real. Youre not walking around acting all fake, saying fake stuff like, I love your shoes! Because those shoes are ugly and everyone knows it.
Although, if there was one in front of me it could be my favorite - generally, that's always my favorite pie. The one in front of me.

(12,132 posts)It sounds fantastic. I was born in Florida and have lived in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland and Kentucky. I've never had one and if my Mom or Dad or any of my grandma's were still alive I'd call them up to register a complaint.
Although, Maybe my mom was making them all along and just kept putting pecans in them. My mom's pecan pie was the best.

(56,582 posts)Chess pies are all cane sugar. Other than that, yeah, a chess pie is pretty much a pecan pie without pecans.

(46,179 posts)although they come close with blackberry:
"If blackberry pie is your favorite, it means youre probably a really good friend. Your friends are probably the luckiest people on earth because a blackberry pie-loving friend is basically a 10 on the friend scale, developed in the late 1800s by Sir Edward Friend to quantifiably measure friendship."
My favorite pie is marionberry/boysenberry.
In reality, I'm a lover of pies of all kinds, and wouldn't turn down a single type listed. As a matter of fact, I could skip the turkey tomorrow and just feast on all those different pies.

My second favorite is a tie between peach and strawberry rhubarb. I like a bit of tartness with my sweets.

"If cherry pie is your favorite, it means youre just a really good, quality person. You should probably be put in a museum of awesome people. But that would be kind of creepy, like a human zoo. I mean, youd be free to take breaks and leave the museum from time to time, but you have a life to live. So, just keep eating cherry pie and lets never speak of this again."
lol - cute!

(6,199 posts)I guess I am also homemade fun, because I can't stomach commercially produced lemon meringue pie- they always leave out the zest so the filling's too sweet, or try to fake the meringue with whipped cream. I have to make it myself or it just comes out wrong.
~Having just typed and re-read that, it kinda seems like a good life lesson, now that I think about it.

(21,046 posts)It's unique because my mother invented it. So nobody knows how to cook it unless I give them the recipe.
You cook it on top of the stove in a deep skillet, like you would fudge. Then you take it off the stove, put 8 ounces of cream cheese in, stir well while still warm, and pour it up in a pre-baked pie shell. Keep it in the fridge. The cream cheese makes it gel.
Creamy smooth, delicious and utterly obscene. Needs no whipped cream on top.

(14,881 posts)the closest of which is pecan pie:
If pecan pie is your favorite pie, it means you radiate an aura of joy to those around you. If youre in the room, eating pecan pie, other people will be like, What is this feeling? Is it gas? No
Its joy! And its all because of you.
But actually, in my case it probably is gas.

(57,757 posts)Strawberries make the pie too sweet. I like it tart.

(8,646 posts)I cannot get rhubarb around here (which is nuts it grows like crazy, but my mom pulled hers
now I don't have a source...) but I sure remember summers on my grandparent's farm and my grandmother's rhubarb pie. And rhubarb cake. And rhubarb muffins. And jam. And raw rhubarb dipped in sugar. Or not.
I do love strawberries too though, and I like sweet, so depending on what I'm in the mood for, sweet or sour-ish, both kinds of pie are my favorite.

(5,128 posts)I don't care. They're all good. Better than cakes, cookies, or any dessert you name.
My dad got saddled with gooseberry pie. Anyone who wanted to make him something special were tasked with hunting down the elusive gooseberry for a pie. The poor guy loved pie, his true favorite apple with sharp cheddar on top, but he got the gooseberry for birthdays and whatnot. Fortunately, his seven sisters could all bake like champs, and family reunions were rewarding for all of us.
