Hilarious - Annoying Airplane Passenger Thinks She's The Only One Who Celebrates Thanksgiving

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/29/annoying-airplane-passenger_n_4360667.html?ncid=edlinkusaolp00000009

This extremely passive-aggressive airplane feud is one for the ages.

It took place on Thanksgiving Day between a middle-aged woman known as "Diane" and a righteously-indignant TV producer, Elan Gale, who live-tweeted the entire hilarious, maddening encounter as it happened.

My Dad worked for AA for over 40 years. I remember the good old days of air travel.
It used to be fun to fly.

Not any more. I need a Xanax and a few drinks.

believing a flight attendant would have even delivered that wine/note (assuming that's who he "sent" it by), let alone given him the vodka for that purpose...

I don't believe this story. What flight crew would not only let this go on but encourage it?

True or not, he's an asshole either way.

Assuming, of course, that this is true.

He could have just sent her a glass of wine with a nice note reminding her that everybody wanted to get home for thanksgiving, and maybe we all just needed to accept our fate.

Glad I wasn't on that plane

And then the nerve to post about it, as if it's something to take pride in having done.

And indeed, how about just a nice note and the wine?

antagonizing stupid, self-entitled assholes is a highly enjoyable activity. At least when you're stuck somewhere you can't do much else.

I wouldn't have done it the way he did, but I'd have probably done it. If people antagonized them on a regular basis, they'd either stop being stupid, self-entitled assholes, or they'd at least be quiet, stupid, self-entitled assholes, which is a huge improvement.

Had I done it, I definitely wouldn't have involved the attendant or done things that might annoy other people on the plane.

that he commented about sucking his dick.

There is a way to make a point without being a fucking asshole.
