Oldest Son Just Called, My Second Grandchild Just Arrived.
My son and daughter-in-law had their first child, a baby boy, at 1349 DST.
Mother and child both doing fine, they hadn't even weighed or measured my new grandson yet.
Baby Anthony was born on my grandfather's birthday, December 19, which made my own father very, very happy.
My parents now have eighteen great-grandchildren, and my mother is now all puffed-up with pride.
My son sounds like he was dragged backwards through a fence, and he wasn't the one giving birth.
I think he was just relieved all went well.
How exciting for all of you!
Welcome to the world, baby Anthony!
It will interesting to see if he has his mother's red hair.
They will make sure that he sees a good port of the world.
My second-oldest son's daughter, my first grandchild, loves to go fishing with Grandpa, and she's not even four yet.
I get to fill them up with sugar and junk food when no one is looking, then yell at their parents because they aren't feeding them healthy.
Each of the younger generations coming after mine are more liberal, it is only a matter of time before the American Elephant is extinct.
After he grows up, I will make sure he hears the tales of all those that would hate him because of part of his heritage.
Grandson Jack (now 11) 'named' me that as soon as he could talk.
So that's what granddaughter Charlotte (6) calls me too.
Miz t. is 'Gigi'.
Also named by Jack.
