but after having two of them crash, I bought a Mac Mini. I bought it in 2009 and that little computer has worked faithfully for me since. It has developed a few glitches but nothing that a restart won't cure for a while.

I've used multiple computer systems for decades - from the early days of Apple and "windows". I still use different systems every day.
The Mac's are terrific. They last a long time, have few problems, and calling Apple is usually easier than Dell, HP, etc.
If you use a Mac for a few years, you'll wonder what took you so long.
