3. They finally opened a liquor store in the next town over from me

Prior to this I had about a 30 minute drive to the nearest bottle of booze other than a bar.

The great part is a stones throw away at the convienience store you can buy a cold case of beer, throw the carton away on the ground while you're packing your cooler, and pop a top before you ever leave the parking lot (and I see a lot of people doing just that).

You can't buy any alcohol on Sunday.
