Looks like a deer...

Digging for something, anything, to eat.

A lot of snow on the ground!

There are apple orchards near my home. We've seen deer droppings a few times. The dog barks late at night but I haven't seen anything bigger than bunnies. I know we have raccoons. One tore the screen on my deck.

They dig around the oak trees for the acorns, and I have tons of crab apples out back. They also are kind enough to clean out anything left in the garden.... cabbage, brussels sprouts, etc. I love seeing them on a snowy, moonlit night.
