While on a road trip last fall I stopped at McUrinals to avail myself of their porcelain appliances. When I pulled in I noticed a tour bus in the lot, but didn't give it any thought until I got inside and found 40 women waiting in line to use the bathrooms. As in bathroomS, plural. Two women in their 60's or so stood cross-armed in front of the men's room door. "It's occupied" one said as I approached. I didn't blame them a bit, and was chuckling as I walked across the street to Mac's competitor.

I also recall reading how some airports still have pay toilets, a cost avoided for men using urinals.

And then there's the whole issue of having to sit ...
