That is so great that you rescue dogs from shelters. I wanted to get a Shepherd from a Shepherd Rescue organization here but in reading their qualifications I was afraid they would turn me down because of the feral cats in my barn. I'm doing my best to get them all spayed and neutered, and vaccinated but there is only one agency able to assist for a pretty large county filled with feral cats so they can only do a few at a time, plus more seem to show up here in the meantime. It seem like a never-ending process. I kept Maxie away from the cars and I plan on the same with Marnie. She saw two outside today and actually ran and hid behind me.
