I didn't watch his late night show so I don't know how he will be day to day. Just some clips - like when he slow jammed the news with president Obama.

But he's off to a strong start!

This is no contest.
There's a new King of Late Night.
Long live the King.

my first thought was "What, Carrot Top wasn't available?"

After I saw a few of his shows I decided that he does have some talent. The odd thing is that Leno was at the top of the ratings. The difference between now and 2009 is that ABC has Jimmy Kimmel and they did not have his show in 2009. I wonder if there is a CATV channel that would put up big money for a new Leno program?

...I just see him as a decent guy doing his best. When he's "on" he's ON, and when he's not, he's really no worse than any of the "big guns" on an off night. His Jim Morrison "Reading Rainbow" segment STILL cracks me up.

Like I said earlier, I know some people don't like him, but some people didn't like Johnny Carson either. He's worked for this, he's earned it.

He was one of my favorites on SNL. I still remember him in the Cowbell Skit - he was one of the minor cast members in the skit yet the entire time he was hunched over trying to to break up laughing so hard. He was notorious for losing it in the middle of a skit.

This is like a post-modern hipster poem. Short, dark, nihilistic, ironic, etc.

I never managed to watch Jimmy Fallon after he left SNL. Late night talk shows stopped appealing to me after Johnny Carson left and I never cared for Jay Leno, Conan, or even Dave.
Even though I am a 60+ yr old female, Fallon has won me over with his talent and infectious energy.
He makes my face hurt...in a good way!
