We have a thirteen year old neutered cat. He has a urinary tract problem that medicine and diet control, he has hyperthyroidism which medicine controls. Now he has started sneezing and my wife says he crackles when he breathes. He eats normally, but no longer purrs, meows, or growls.
What's up. He's going to the vet on Tuesday?
Thanks

(3,821 posts)He and apparently his sister, a black spayed female have the cat equivalent of the sniffles. His kidneys, liver, lungs and heart are fine. I was given an antibiotic to give him and her once a day, make sure he always has fresh clean water and sprinkle a probiotic on their food.
Problem, neither cat likes anything spread on their food.
