She's my baby.She's a handfull.....she's beyond amazing
We found her in a shelter in SC...she was so matted up she could barely walk when we got her...she was so scared she would run if she heard a door shut. She was the only breeding Sheep Terrier East of the Mississippi that we know of
NOW...she is an attention whore...I LOVE HER.
Always figured my next big dog (Junior) would replace Buddy Guy ......but no....it was 30 pounds of energy with 500 pounds of love.....Happy

(28,394 posts)BTW, there is no such breed as an Australion (sic) Sheep Terrier. She should have never been bred. She is basically a loveable mutt.
She is super cute though. Thank you for giving her such a good home.

Buddy Guy was .....special.Just thinking about him makes me cry.
He was a bernard I picked up at our local no kill as a pup....he grew into 220 pounds of love....he was the most awesome thing i ever had the pleasure to know.
He ran in front of a truck and died....I thought about killing myself that night.
Buddy wasn't just a dog....he was by far the greatest friend I ever had....he was AMAZING
I miss him so much
Happy makes it easier...she has his attitude.

(9,126 posts)My Burmese cat was like that. He was almost human and the one thing on this earth that taught me about unconditional love. Not a day goes by I don't miss him like crazy. I didn't know how I could go on living without him.
I have been wanting a dog for so long, but living in an apartment sort of has put on hold my ability to get what I want: the BIGGEST dog on the planet. I love saints and look through adoption listings for them all the time. I don't care if they slobber, I think their big heads are just the coolest things. My SO on the other hand...
I know you miss him, but it is true, you're lucky to have known him and had that kind of relationship with another living being. I'm glad you've found a new friend to ease the pain.

(6,001 posts)I've learned my babies are usually much better friends than any human.
Wish I could restart my shelter.Once I get situated in SC I'm going to.
Used to work a lot with my local PAWS no kill and built a kennel on my property for any over run they couldn't handle.....LOVED it.
Good times
