Today is Academic Spree Day on campus
They shut down classes for the day and throw a big party for the students complete w/
a DJ, and bands to follow
a BBQ (dogs, burgers, chicken, corn on the cob, salads, watermelon, cookies)
a photo booth
a few inflatable attractions (water slide, mechanical bull, etc)
Jello fights
tie-dye booth (the students were all given "Spree Day" T-shirts
a table where they're giving out chocolate covered bananas
They're going to show a movie later tonight.
The students are out there having a blast--probably about 700 of them.
Let me just say that I'm glad I don't live in the area and work the night shift.
