The only way I can slow the population growth is to collect and discard the eggs daily.

Oh, and to answer your question ... yes ... I love my flock. Apparently they love me too. A few of them will fly over to be close to me while I sit drinking my coffee or briefly stand near the cage. They sing to me or just perch quietly.

13. I have two assistants.

They go home at five. Most of the paperwork is prior medical records sent to me for review for my new patients. I like to get up to speed on my new patients as quickly as possible. Especially if they report something in their past medical history that it's helpful to have documentation for.

My assistants can't do all of that for me.
