I wouldn't know the 'Happy' song if it came right up to me and slapped me across the face

I know Pharrell sang it because I saw photos of him doing that at the Oscars.

But that's about it.

Was it from a movie?

month or so. I liked it at first, but it's gotten so much play now that I change the station if it comes on... usually to find some other station is also playing it.

From Despicable Me 2. I don't like it. In fact this earworm has become a bane of my existence because my damned kids like it so much they won't stop singing it. It's actually a part of my middle kids spring concert at school so I'll have to pretend I don't despise it yet once more next Friday.

The 3 part harmony "Let It Go" marathon from last March nearly sent me over the edge.

I had to shake my head, since I didn't think it belonged in the public airwaves.
Same thing with "Let it Go" from Frozen.

I hear that song, and I'm like... The heck?

on Dancing With the Stars. It made a nice feature for his female pro, but that's not really the point of the show. I don't know why they didn't give it to a female celebrity.

the P Diddy car commercial.

In fact, that's how I find out a lot of today's music. From commercials, and from playing SongPop with friends.

The best thing that ever happened to me occurred when my son began to date a young lady who had a son. The last two years have been spent going to animated blockbusters. Damn, they are works of art.

I can't imagine what life would be like now if I didn't know about Dave from the minions.

Has a very cool sound that kind of reminds me of a Sergio Mendez tune.

ad nauseum. Its a catchy tune and upbeat as all get out, but its one of those hits that's almost a novelty song. Not deep, just entertaining background noise that doesn' t demand your attention.
