You've never seen the Weekend Updates of Dan Akroyd calling Jane Curtin that same word? We're all adults here, aren't we? Is this Sunday school?

The word FUCK is used so liberally on DU, that someone who finds the bad ol' word that was included in my picture comes off as insincere to the nth degree.

At least having moderators & knowing who they were by the icon next to their names was a better system than allowing anonymous johnnies-on-the-spot who are anxious to play moderator hit the button every time they find an opportunity to do so.

This is the LOUNGE, where a degree of irreverence is permitted & acceptable. If FUCK isn't deemed offensive, then neither is the bad ol' word I used as a JOKE.

I was actually making fun of the fact that it was probably going to get wiped out. I got you better than the time I had my friend draw a Star of David on my arm with a sharpie, posted on facebook that I got my ink, and my mother freaked.

I've got a sense of humor otherwise I wouldn't be holding the fucking emoticon party. In fact, no one should take anything I ever say seriously. I haven't alerted on anything and don't intend too except for freepers.

After reading through other threads & piecing together how the new system works, I combed through to find out who had a "1" next to their names in their profiles in regard to the number of times served on the jury.

I don't get angry often, but when I do, I've got more fire in my belly than most people & I'm not going to stand by quietly.
