I really only remember it in seventh grade, since we had a second English class that covered it

But I'm still grateful for it, since it certainly helped me in my writing, find myself pulling sentences apart to this day. Guess it's embedded in my brain, too, LOL. And I don't understand why it's not still taught, especially for kids in the early grades, to give them a solid base, or for those who are struggling with the subject.
