When I was ten was the first year our blueberries made. I loved them so much I ate better than a gallon of them in a day.

Twenty-five years later, I'll pick them, but I won't eat more than a handful over an entire season.

I was hungry and bored. There was some speaker, and I was standing too close to the ranch dip and the salad plate. I hadn't eaten all day, and here is a platter of greens and vegetables, while some person is droning.

I never should have gone there, because I ate every damn vegetable they had LOL.
