Time again for bands you'd wish would reunited and finally do that reunion tour.

Mind you it has to be something reasonable. I mean I'm sure we'd all love for all 4 Beatles to reunite and tour but without John Lennon and George Harrison it does't quite work. Perhaps if only one had passed away like Led Zeppelin (only Bonham is gone) but if 50% or more of the members have passed away then you are't getting a true reunion. You're getting something a Lynard Skynard Tour where one member who spent a few years with the band is still touring under that name even though most of the original members are gone.

Top on my list of course is Led Zeppelin and I want Jason Bonham (John's kid) on drums.
#2 Choice - Talking Heads.

Ok post your choices here.

1. Who's Lynard Skynard?

Are they a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band?

(Actually, there is one called Skynnyn Lynnyrd. )

6. Who cares, most of the original and long time band members do not tour with them

so who cares if I spell it correct or not.

2. #1 The Kinks (which is reportedly in talks), #2 Also Talking Heads.

Not a chance of #2, according to every interview with every member I've ever read.

#3 would be Yes. You say they are touring right now? Sorry, it's not Yes without Jon Anderson.

I've seen Yes about ten times. I'd like to see them one more time.

We saw Jon Anderson solo a few weeks ago. He was wonderful.

3. I would love to see Yes with both Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman back in the band.

I do enjoy Geoff Downes on keyboards, but Wakeman is special and I've never seen him live.

As for Jon Davison on lead vocals, he's a very good vocalist and front man for Yes. (But of course, it's still not the same.)

10. 100%. Dawg, I have seen Yes with ....

Wakeman, Anderson, Brufurd,Howe, Squire line up. Astounding.
Also, I saw a Yes concert recently on cable. Can't tell you the year of
the concert but they were all noticeably much older. Must have been sometime in the 2,000's
Anyway, Anderson's voice was just amazing. You know how when many bands/singers get older, they will often do their hits in a lower key so they can still hit the notes? Not Jon !! he was dead on, on EVERY note
IN the original key signature. Now, considering how high he could sing in his youth, it's really unbelievable that he could do it now !! Dammit, I wish I knew the name of the concert. It was something like..
Yes live from_____. Big help right?

19. Geoff is a top-shelf player.

But it would be wonderful to see Jon and Rick/Oliver with the band one more time.

5. I saw Jon Anderson at the Queen in Wilmington a few years ago - AMAZING

And it's the same reason I won't see the band Queen in concert. Some lead singers are just irreplaceable. Jon Anderson and Freddie Mercury are 2 of them!

8. Although Brian May and Roger Taylor are extremely talented musicians....

I don't think they would be where they are today if it wasn't for Freddie Mercury. If you think of all the Glam/Prog Rock bands of the late 70s and early 80s so many of them have fallen to obscurity even with extremely talented musicians. Freddie Mercury put them on the map and made Queen the legend that they are and the reason why the band is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I would have no problem buying tickets to a Roger Taylor/Brian May tour. But putting a Mercury wannabe in to replace Freddie was just wrong so wrong. Same thing with Yes replacing Jon Anderson. I understood when they did it right after Anderson fell sick. Yes had tour date commitments to finish and wanted to finish. But Anderson recovered and his voice is just as amazing so not bring him back is just wrong!

15. Going to see Brian next week and I'm paralyzed with excitement.

Dr. May (Ph.D., Astrophysics) is extremely talented. I want to see him before he's too old to play his Red Special.

I can't say I'm enthused about Adam Lambert and I think it's a waste of time to argue about Adam vs. Freddie.

However, seeing Roger and Brian will be good.

12. Pink Floyd

Yeah, I know they haven't broken up per se. But I'd like them to put out something new & tour again. Last time I saw them was for, The Division Bell. Man it has been a while.

Morrisey & The Smiths. Never got a chance to see them together. After buying so many of their albums they owe me at this point.

Glen Danzig & The Misfits First horror/punk band & the only one that really matters.

Sting & The Police Yeah, who doesn't want to see this happen?

Brian Setzer & The Stray Cats With Setzer's solo work & the SC hits, this would be like a 3 hr show.

16. I gave up on current rock 'n' roll in 1983.

Right after I saw the Police on the Synchronicity Tour in 1983 and then they broke up.

I have yet to see a rock band since then that has really interested me. I don't like metal; too much screaming and distortion. This includes Led Zep. I didn't like them in 1969 and i still don't like them.

18. Unquestionably Pink Floyd

Never to happen since Rick Wright passed. Saw Roger-less PF and Roger's "The Wall" tour. I don't think they ever came to Minneapolis with all four members. i has a sad.

Wouldn't mind seeing Siouxsie and the Banshees, though. And the Real Yes (Anderson/Howe/Squire/Wakema - and I will accept Oliver Wakeman)/White one more time.

20. +1 on the Stray Cats. Never did get to see them "back in the day" and would love to.

I did see the Smiths on "The Queen is Dead" tour.
I'd do ANYTHING to see them again. If they only did one show in Manchester I would fly to England to see it.

22. Jethro Tull. Now that Martin Barre has left the fold the band is over.

Anderson can call it what he wants but without Mr. Barre by his side it is just a solo artist's backing band.

25. I'd LOVE to see the Throwing Muses.

I was under 21 when they came through town, and couldn't see them at the bar where they played.

Obviously, that was a loooong time ago.....
