Anybody watching the FX show Tyrant?

I am almost finished with the first episode. The younger brother's wife is either an idiot or she is up to something. It is an interesting show.

1. I just finished epi 2 and am kinda hooked on it.

5. The only part that drives

me nuts is the wife who is stupid beyond belief in this day in age. The son is not very bright and will probably get into trouble at some point. The daughter is pretty smart and figures out things pretty fast. I really like the show but I know that I will despise the wife character. It is so hard to believe that the writers could write such a stupid character. If she is not stupid then maybe she has an unidentified hidden agenda.

just as soon as I finish my binge of Fringe...
somehow summer weather gives me permission to watch lighter fare.

3. I watched the first episode.

I forgot about it this week, though. It had too much violence for me. And it reminded me of The Godfather movies!

and have 2 on dvr. Still undecided but I'll watch the second and see if I will keep watching.
