Here is what you can do in your spare time, if you have enough of it. Oh, you will also need a car junk yard. But once you have met these conditions, the sky is the limit. One thing is certain — you will have a lot of fun with this.

Actually, only a couple of days ago I wrote about another artist doing this kind of stuff. In that case, it was Indonesian artist Ono Gaf who has managed to transform a pile used auto parts into an astonishing turtle.

Well, these guys have chosen to build something altogether different from Mr. Gaf’s creation. Reddit user Proteon put it succinctly in his post’s title:

For the uninitiated, Optimus Prime is a character from the Transformers movies. Prime is the leader of the Autobots, which is a faction of transforming robots from the planet Cybertron. The Autobots are in a perpetual state of war against a formidable nemesis: a rival faction of transforming robots called Decepticons.
