The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI am very happy to announce the publication of two of my poems in Decanto!
It's a poetry magazine/anthology out of England.
Fatigued
eyes rimmed red
gritty sand down the throat
shallow breaths
muscle ache
in my lower back
nothing looks
normal
the walls are skewed
pictures rattle
inside their bent
frames
the music is off-key

Concentration
Clearly waiting no distractions
no
diversion
I see nothing else
My mind is focused
There is silence
calm alertness
Till I have my arms around you
yet
again.

Yours will return as well!

And indeed, you're correct: it is so validating to have someone who doesn't know me, publish my work! There is nothing quite like it.
