Some channel is advertising that they will show every episode of the Simpsons. I'm not sure how and when that will begin.

Clark: Yes, Yes, it is a bit nipply out. I mean 'nippy out.' What am I saying, nipple? Ah, there is a nip in the air, though.
Mary: Can I take something out for you?
Clark: (insane giggling) I was just looking at something for my wife, god rest her soul.
Mary: Oh god, I'm so sorry.
Clark: Oh no no no, she's not dead. We're just divorced. She's history. And, obviously she doesn't wear underwear. And, there are plenty of shopping days left until adulteries - adulthood - which is to say Christmas, as in Yule, Yule log. Not a log, I don't have a log. I mean you know. If I had a log, not in the sense that you think I said I did. Good golly. Tis the season to be merry.
Mary: That's my name.
Clark: No shit.

A lot of us have many of these on basic cable, but some of these marathon offerings are pretty much like the normal network programming with some shows--like NCIS and Criminal Minds--already running a lot.

Bummer of a day for marathons when nobody even thought to run Twilight Zone.

I walked up to Trader Joes earlier today and shopped. It will be too hot later to be very active, so I'll probably read on the patio and talk to the lizard visitors.

SyFy is doing a marathon starting today Twilight Zone.

their footage is sometimes good to relax to. I find it very Zen.

Also, there are usually good movies on AMC or TCM.

www.thedarewall.com

Free, complete series from all over. Including premium channels.
I just watched the complete series of Showtime's Ray Donovan, which I highly recommend. Then I watched Homeland.

In HS back in the day I had to lug my portable typewriter to the Rose Bowl for a journalism competition. I'd never written a sports story before, but my piece on the UCLA-Michigan State game in 1966 won me a $100 scholarship--to USC.
