I hate wishy washy people.

If you say you are going to do something, do it. If you want to deal, let's deal.

A young couple looked at a condo I have for lease or sale and said they wanted to lease it. They filled out the application and submitted to a credit check and an employment check. Their credit and income were good. All we had to do was sign the paperwork.

I got a call today from my property manager. He says they decided not to lease the place. The only reason they gave was that they had decided to stay where they were.

This is very disappointing. I have had that place on the market for five months and I really need something to happen with it. I'm not some mega-housing corporation. It's the only property I own, and I don't want to own it at that. The place is eating me up.

It's turning into an albatross. I hate it when people get that far through the process and then back out.

I'm so sorry...

I moved out of that place in January of 2011 and I've had it for sale or lease ever since. I've had two tenants and have paid on it sitting empty for a total of a year and a half. The last tenant tore the hell out of the place costing me $3000. I'd so much rather sell it. I have all of my options open at this point- sale, land contract, or lease.
