One day a very large domestic bunny showed up in our neighborhood.

I don't know what kind of a domestic rabbit this was. But he was so large none of the neighborhood rabbit eating cats would mess with him. He went on to breed with the cottontails and produce outsize offspring that were distinguished by the odd patch of white here and there. The babies are still running around long after the big guy disappeared.
