Thinking about starting a new Thursday tradition here on DU, I realize it's a bit late in the day but give this throwback Thursday a try...

4. A big ass spider web?

6. I have no idea but that will not stop me from making a wild guess

looks like tons of wires coming from some old electrical generator in a grimy city. Also looks like snow on some rooftops.
Looks like an onion topped (byzantine type building in the back).
I am guessing Moscow in the 30s.

Is any part right?
