i don't care that it's 35 degrees out. i'm getting my porch time, dammit.

fleece jammie pants, hoodie, robe, gloves and a hat and i'm pretty comfortable.

we're supposed to get a bit of snowfall tonight, which would be the earliest recorded snowfall in my city. then back up to the 70s over the weekend and 80s early next week.

i love colorado.

Reading a most interesting book, Bill Bryson's One Summer-America in 1927, in which he reports Nebraska had snowfall at one end of the state,
and hot tornado producing weather at the other end.
In the summer, for god's sake.

Water skiers on the river, no end to summer yet!

I'm pretty tired of it. Hottest August on record in Portland. We want our rain!

I've been getting in my walks around the neighborhood, and it cools down relatively quickly at night.

on my screened-in cat porch. 50*+, I have my morning coffee out there w/ a cheery fire. It'll raise the ambient temperature by 10-15*.

35* is too cold for this wussy-man, though.
