At least if you entered Florida you might be okay under the wet foot/dry ice foot policy.

The Florida Straits would have existed then as now just narrower since the sea floor is very deep in that channel.

There's a decently deep strait between them. They were a lot closer though, and both of them were much closer to the Yucatan then they are now.

One little bit of Ice Age archaeology that I find really fascinating is the mounting evidence of widespread human habitation of what is now the North Sea and English Channel.

No way would I walk 90 miles in the ocean. I wouldn't even walk 90 miles on land.
