(5,364 posts)....And I'm still complaining about dewpoints of 68-69. Mid september and the heat/humidity has yet to moderate, let alone plummet. Since the beginning of this month we've been hearing "thunderstorms the end of this week, then cooler and drier next week" and all that's happened is thunderstorms with more muggy weather. It doesn't help that my pores are as big as the grand canyon and that the grass needs to mowed twice as much as is usual for this time of year.

(30,947 posts)I know because I grew up there and now live in North Georgia where the humidity rates are liveable.

(29,414 posts)Earlier today it must have been close to 90F with similar humidity percentage. Still, I'd rather sweat than shiver, no matter what

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
