Saw the Who in 1980 after Moon died. Kenney Jones was the drummer. It was still fabulous.

I've read that Roger was the only one in The Who who did not do drugs or drink. Maybe it shows, if true? He certainly looks healthy.

and found happiness sharing it with the world.

I always had a crush on him, especially since I first saw Tommy (77?78?).

When the Who played at the Superbowl half time (dates escape me!), my kids and their friends were kind of making fun of the "old guys". To them it was kind of lame, until I pointed out that those old guys are still rocking it!

Way to go Roger! Is it me, or does he resemble Hugh Grant in that pic-and older High Grant of course.

I used to like Pete more but now I like Roger more.

This song is so powerful it peels paint off the walls:

I have seen them many times, first in 1975, so I got to see Keith Moon. Still think I lost a whole range of hearing at a 1979 show at Madison Square Garden.
A friend of mine saw Roger Daltrey perform in A Christmas Carol at the garden. She said he walled through the audience, signed autographs, took pictures with people and very sweet and personable. She was with her daughter, who was a toddler and she said he stopped and picked her up and told her how adorable she was. Nice memory of a nice guy.
