Closest would be Rock Lobster, but the B-52s had quite a few hits.

I saw We Five perform a few times at a couple of small clubs in California back around the time the song came out in 1965. It was to be their only hit (though they also performed very good versions of "Get Together" which became a hit for the Youngbloods, and Bobby Scott's "108 Pounds of Heartache" .
