if you've never entered a photo contest before the seasonal ones are good ones to enter since the theme is "summer"
anything having to do with summer,whether its flowers,holidays,vacations,whatever says summer to you is valid

the rules are posted in the submission thread. teh winner of teh contest agrees to host the next seasonal contest around december 1.
