i was starting to read a thread and all of a sudden DU disappeared & i got some shit on the screen with a banner that said: A MESSAGE FROM OUR SPONSORS and it told me i would be taken back to the site in 27, 26, 25 seconds.
WTF?
i closed the window and opened a new one to come back here.
has this happened to anyone else?

That's a well-known and trusted utility for finding and safely removing malware. Just google it.
