For the reminder. I got the camera and long lens out and got a few shots. Now just need to let my feet warm up again.

Here in Japan it's about 7:30 and I'm making dinner, have to go back and forth from balcony and moon to stove and quesadillas. The old guy who lives alone in a small apartment building down the street came out and smoked and watched, the family that runs a children's art school had a telescope, heads popped out all along the sixth floor, people in houses came out in the street. The moon was reflected in the stream below then disappeared. Crickets sing loudly, the sky clouds over. Quesadillas will be sacrificed and the moon will return.

National Bring Your Teddy Bear To Work & School Day and I have the day off from work today. I guess I will have a pierogi and play with my friend's kind of overweight dog.

Now I know why I bought Pirogies on my last shopping trip.
We'll have 'em for supper tonight.

My doggy lost weight this summer.

He hates the work/school day thing, so he said we'd just call the eclipse 'Show and Tell' and check him off.
