A big one: if you're ever tied up by Nazis while they are about to open the Ark Of The Covenant, don't look.
Another valuable one: If your boss ever invites you to his vacation home but happens to die before you arrive, just throw some sunglasses on him and no one's the wiser. Why ruin your vacation plans?
When you die, don't summon Beetlegeuse and don't let Ortho get his hands on the Handbook For The Recently Deceased.
Does anyone have any other valuable life lessons they've learned from this golden age of cinema?

Today, the FAA and DHS would not allow a person with a name like this anywhere near an airplane cockpit.

I didn't recognise the movie, but it was obviously in response to stupid things learned from 1980's movies.. I suppose we should assume the op approves of desecration of human remains by that logic.

[div class="excerpt" style="margin-left:1em; border:1px solid #bfbfbf; border-radius:0.4615em; box-shadow:3px 3px 3px #999999;"]YOUR MESSAGE HERE
The font-family part tells your computer what font family to use. In my case Papyrus. If the computer reading your script does not support that script it will display Brush Script MT, and if not that the oh so hated comic sans MS font. If none of those work it will then use whatever fantasy font family your computer does support.
The size tells it what size to use and color what color to make the font. You can change fonts multiple times within each other
If you want to be lazy you could use this instead but the font might not be supported by their computer and will default back to the normal script
I highly suggest if you use a font with spaces in it like Comic Sans MS you put apostrophes before and after like this 'Comic Sans MS'
I also suggest reading these links for more information:

Edit: Yes, I know I use the three most hated fonts on the internet. But I like them!!!
PS: For anyone interested in trying this; just copying my post below the quote and pasting it into a reply and previewing it to see how it looks on your screen

(5,364 posts)The "cool" kids in high school had the appearance, means, maturity and most notably; autonomy, of a person in their mid-20's.
Never saw anything like that in my HS years ( late 70's ) and neither did anybody else I mentioned this to. As "cool" or popular as they were, and how much "stuff" they had; they were still kids living under some sort of authority.

(503 posts)Alan Ruck was born on July 1, 1956, making him 29 years, 11 months, and 11 days old when the film was released on June 11, 1986.
Matthew Broderick (born March 21, 1962), would have been 24 years, 2 months and 22 days old.
Mia Sara (Sloane Peterson) was born June 19, 1967, the youngest of the trio of Cameron, Sloane and Ferris and the only actual teenager. Age at release: 18 years, 11 months, 24 days old.
Judd Nelson (born November 28, 1959) was 25 years, 2 months and 19 days old when The Breakfast Club was released on February 15, 1985. Second-oldest: Emilio Estevez (born May 12, 1962), 22 years, 9 months and 4 days old at time of release. He slightly edges out, by a month and one day, Ally Sheedy (born June 13, 1962), who was 22 years, 8 months and 3 days old on the release date.
Youngest by far were Molly Ringwald (born February 18, 1968), just 16 years, 11 months and 29 days old, and Anthony Michael Hall (born April 14, 1968), 16 years, 10 months and 2 days old and the "baby" of the cast. He remains the youngest-ever cast member of Saturday Night Live.
Overall, though, it seems most of these teen roles were played by 20-somethings.

(503 posts)Somebody did a supercut on YouTube a while back where the annoying paper boy chases John Cusack around through ~25 years of his entire film career. I think it got DMCA'd but boy it was funny. Especially when he's running around with the convicts in Con Air and even shows up at room 1408. (Of course he attacks "Lloyd Dobler" standing outside with the boom box.) He even goes after him singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at Wrigley Field.
It must be from 2009 or so, because his bike falls off a cliff in (the movie) 2012.
Or did it....?
