Anybody else watching The Newsroom?
I noticed something and I wonder if anybody else caught it.
Equatorial Kundu. Anybody know where It came from?

1. I saw it, but didn't understand it.
I looked it up on wikipedia, and Kundu is a clan, not a place, in India.
What do you think it means? On edit: It is supposed to be a fictional African country that was also referenced on the West Wing..... upon further googling. ![]() |

4. Yes! I was amazed that nobody here had mentioned The Newsroom yet...
After I watched the season premiere last night, I looked on DU for some kind of reaction/discussion, but found nothing. I thought last night's episode was quite compelling, reminded me of the first season which focused on the news stories, rather than the messy personal relationships that characterized season two. I was glad to see it and am looking forward to the rest of the (short) season, hope they continue with these kind of storylines. And thanks for the question. I didn't know the answer to that one, either.
