2. I almost considered getting it down from the attic

I inherited a house with an artificial tree. We spend our winters there. Last time we decorated it, I moved it into the attic decorations and all. All I have to do is take it down again and plug it in.

No, it's not the same, but hey, what the hell, decorated tree.

3. That's way better than our tradtion

of buying a new scrawny 2' tall artificial tree every year at the last minute, putting it up with whatever decorations we can manage to find, taking it down and throwing it in the junk closet where it gets beat up so bad we have to go buy a new scrawny 2' foot tall artificial tree at the last minute the next year...
