(8,854 posts)...what weened me off of Words With Friends. When I first started playing that game I would get good combinations of letters. Not too many vowels and not too many consonants. But, I swear, the more games I played to worse my letters would get. There were times where it seemed as though the game was determined to dole out ALL of the E's to me before moving on to the next vowel. For a while I still managed to eke out a win even with all the crappy letters I was getting but the game was getting to be less and less fun because getting to that win was such a slog. Then the letters became so impossible that I would lose game after game after game even to people who I would usually beat. I lost count count of how many times I had A,E,I,O,U and (if I was lucky) ONE consonant. That picture in your post brings back some very annoying memories.

(10,201 posts)I missed a simple word that would have won it for me.
We were down to the point where there were no more tiles to draw. There was a spot with an A and 3 empty tiles to its left. I dropped an O and a V to spell OVA, completely overlooking the N in my tray. My wife took it on her next turn...
