My dog is going ballistic.

She was born deaf and usually doesn't bark much. But like most deaf dogs she is very sensitive to visual incongruities. Today the builders across the street brought in a huge crane to raise the frame of a house they are popping-up. My dog is livid. She is glued to the windows and won't stop barking--frenzied barking. There is nothing I can do or sign that will calm her. I took her to the dog park and dog boutique to distract her but the crane is still there on our return. Guess I'll have to go for ANOTHER drive. Nighttime cannot get her soon enough.

Other than that, it's a beautiful, sunny day in Lafayette, CO!

She knows the good stuff and doesn't take it for granted unlike her human brothers. I just wish she'd would actually chew her food before swallowing. I have to cut it up so she won't choke herself.

But my dog is still running from window to window, growling, waiting for its return. I honestly think she's having a good time. She probably thinks she chased it away.
