Home for a snow day and stumbled across this. I used to watch the series in first run and I taped (yes, taped) the finale, set it aside and never wanted to watch it cuz I knew this would happen.
I just like to see you happy." Ahh, shit.
Now I have to go do something manly...
On edit...
I just realized I implied I watched this on the tape I recorded years ago. That's no longer around. While I was home on the snow day I was flipping channels and landed on ABCFAM or some such thing. They happened to be running the last episode. It was pretty much the first time in years I'd seen the series and the finale was about the only one I'd missed. Kismet.

(12,153 posts)I didn't want it to end, ever.
The finale wasn't sad, but I was sad watching it.
I like knowing that Alexis Bledel, like her Rory character was in GG, has always been a big Obama supporter.

Sigh.
My daughter used to watch this show and I caught some of it here and there. I always told my 'new' husband that he would've liked it; when it came onto Netflix we dove in...and he REALLY enjoyed it with me!
Not perfect by any means but definitely good enough.
Oh, a few years ago Lauren Graham played Miss Adelaide in a revival of Guys and Dolls on Broadway. I went with my daughter and got to say thanks to Ms. Graham afterward!

(3,336 posts)My daughter and I used to watch the reruns together. I DVR it daily and watch it to unwind after a busy day. I still pick up new things because of their high speed witty dialogue.
