http://www.buzzfeed.com/rachelysanders/lasagna-forever-and-ever-amen#.wdgG9RJdPI would try every recipe in this article. I got hungry tonight for lasagna after going to a new Italian restaurant near me and ordering my favorite, fettucini alfredo. I should have tried the lasagna!

(7,906 posts)I'll make it maybe three times a year.
My trick for when I eat out. Order something I don't enjoy making, or can't make as well.
If I can make it just as good at home, why bother.

Not that I do much cooking. I'm just intrigued.

(4,571 posts)I'd give you a recipe, but mine's from a book. there are lots on the web, but I can't vouch for them. mine's vegetarian (cheese only, no meat)

(11,833 posts)I was curious. No need for recipe. I don't do much cooking. Just was wondering about how the noodles stay okay.
I always make enough to freeze for other meals.
Easy to do since there are just two of us here.
And it always tastes better the second time around anyway.

(12,132 posts)and that is an extension of my number one travel rule of never eating at a restaurant that we have back home.
I can make lasagna but yeah, it's a PITA to do right and it's not as enjoyable to eat when you do shortcuts.
But sometimes, i have a jar of Classico 4 Cheese and I don't feel like going out but I want lasagna so I cheat anyway.

(132,121 posts)tarragon. Yummy. But too much work. And you can't just make a little bit. I don't have a big freezer these days.

(6,336 posts)I love lasagna but unfortunately due to food sensitivities, I can't eat a lot of it (anything with sausage in it).
I've never actually made lasagna, when I want it I buy it frozen from Trader Joe's (veggie lasagna in individual portions).
