The world today s dangerous
Cops kill for no good reason
The White House goes after whistle-blowers
And charges them with treason.

Corporations are now people
Or so we are told
But many people are so broke
They sleep out in the cold.

Russia invades the Ukraine
With killing and much shootin'
A new Cold War we do not need
Try telling that to Putin.

Even here at ol' DU
As we go about our journey
Some of us want Hillary
Some want Liz or Bernie.

Some of us like arguments
Some of us do not
Some of us like liquor
Some of us like pot.

But one of us is special
He gives us all much pleasure
SalmonChantedEvening
A genuine DU treasure.

I've been on DU "walk about" for a while now. No big deal--no harshness or anything--but I've really not been here too much. One of the things that always brings me back is those lovely Sunday threads.
