...I once wrote a 450,000(!!!) word X-Men fan novel, which took place in 1964, the Lee-Kirby era...what can I say? I didn't have time to write a short novel...but I got 50 years of X-reading out of my system, and got the Marvel Universe right, which is more than the people running it these days are capable of doing...
