I am not so sure about the friend part. But if we could tag a person or two in a post, that would be cool.

Also, so you don't have to keep checking threads, some type of notification it something you put up goes further than just the person that replies to you.
For instance, if someone replies to me from this post, you would be notified because it's an offshoot of your comment.
