Hanh Phuc Lang Thang (Happy Wandering) by composer Tran Ngoc Son and sung here by Ho Huang Yen. I'm not sure when it was written but I first heard it sung about 25 years ago and have found myself playing that old tape over and over in my car, although I'm not sure what it's about. It's been covered by virtually every major Vietnamese singer. I find the melody hauntingly beautiful.

That day they bring as many Christmas gentle showers of the way up
On it you like the dew of roses nestled on silky velvet wing
On it you like silk bow for life lonely let me weave dreams
Road late sleeved knit finger convention for life long dream
But five months that his heart is accidentally and unknowingly becomes dull colored blue instead
The remote terminal romantic love ancient boat drifted into the vast river system lifetime
Christmas traditionally far away from the road late rain falls
Forget the old city one foot planted alone
Wind chill bring about pouring lips rate
That day I love you charm to the public thinks of glass
Green is not as erotic poetry common to breath and went so far
Happiness wandering soul withered like clouds to thin while I was still here
Each night in my dreams you still have to expect

(21,925 posts)3. Thanks for the effort
I know the last words of the song "em ve" mean "you return". "Em" meaning "you" is the word for addressing a lover in Vietnamese and "ve" means to return.
