Just got my head shaved for charity

Hours ago I had locks past my shoulders and a beard to match, but now I am bald on top and bottom of my head.

I wanted to tell you katts about this earlier, but we're not allowed to solicit here and all my posts seemed, well solicitice. now that it has happened I hope I can talk about it.

I love my long hair, and my long beard.

A year ago, the pub I work at had an event for a foundation raising money for childhood cancer research cald (self deleted)

One of the ways They help raise money for childhood cancer research is to have folk volunteer to have there head shaved as part of a pledge drive
(And also for solidarity with the kids who just went through radiation therapy)

I'm home now and a bit chilly, but strangely warm inside.

When she was about seven, my daughter cut off her waist length hair for Locks of Love. It grew back.
