Animal Quandary

I am torn. Take doggy out for a walk in the sun thus disturbing the first nap the kitties have had in the same sun in months or letting them have their time. They are sprawled all over back steps and even if I take Marnie out the front she will disturb them no question. She can't seem to resist.

Think I am going to try and distract her for awhile giving them a little more time to enjoy their peaceful slumber. Wish I could join them.

The poor things have been so long without sun, and cats need it. The way they soak it up makes me think they're solar powered.

Have a nice walk when they are inevitably woken up

When I went out to get the package I also found an unpleasant surprise. Unbeknownst to me because of all the snow and cold, kittehs have been doing their potties under the steps. The melting and warming today is uncovering the evidence and the stink. Can't even imagine what the UPS guy must have thought.

I tried cleaning up as much as I could with the shovel until I almost got ill to my tummy. I am going to have to go out with tomorrow and finish, and go out with buckets of water to get residue off cement. Can't get to my hose and turn it on yet because of snow that's still unmelted in front of where I store it. It's gross and a huge mess.

My sister's going to be ticked at me I'm sure, if there's any hint of it left by Friday when she visits. She co owns house and while she loves dogs she just tolerates cats and was never over joyed that I feed the ferals.

The UPS Man brought a new charger for Marnie's e collar. Both the remote and the collar stopped charging. Thought it was charger. It's not. So have to order whole new collar system because she's still just starting to learn to behave without it on, so I'm sure I am going to have my hands full with her until Friday.

I love Marnie and the kitties but sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live in a town house and not in an old farm house which is no longer a farm but sometimes still feels like it.

Ignore me I am just feeling sorry for myself between the hives, not sleeping, Marnie's e collar breaking and now this. I was really trying to look at things positively for a change.

I said to ignore me. I'm just having a rough day and looking for conversation that wasn't serious or depressing.
